CSSGC has a Google drive and gmail for the club.
I have put all files in one folder on Google Drive - past and present and can share that folder with anyone so editors have full access.
This web site is a totally different location as a "Google Site". to "Google Drive" In Google Sites you "embed" a link to whatever spreadsheet, document or location you want to appear on the club web site. That document sits in Drive. And you create a link for the web site in drive. You can access "Drive" by the shortcut in the box on the right.
"2023 New schedule" is in the CSSGC folder as a Google Sheet. You can open in Excel I believe but you would need to copy and paste any edits to the Google Sheet "2023 New Schedule" because that is where the link points to. Probably best to learn to edit and print in "Sheets" to maintain formatting and sharing.
I am in the habit of saving a copy of the schedule every week so if I screw up a formula I can always go back to a good copy.
You can embed an Excel document but I dont think it is editable across platforms.
This is just an inserted text box - not a drive document.
After any editing you must "Publish" the site - top right hand corner - to save any changes to direct editing.
The embedded Google Sheet "2023 New Schedule" automatically updates any edits you do in "Drive" without having to change anything here.
You can add as many pages as you like with whaever info or files you want to add.
